Guy Thomas Davidson

Guy graduated from Welsh High School in 1977 and was employed by Lo-Lift Pump Company of Welsh for 40 years as a machinist and retired as Shop Foreman.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Faul Davidson to whom he was married for 20 years. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Jane Davidson, sisters, Roxanne Begneaux, Monica Hebert (Wayne), and Bernadette Woodroff (Butch Taylor); brother, Anthony "Tony" Davidson (Weng); brother-in-law, Eddie Navarro; in-laws, Leroy and Mary Faul; brothers-in-law, David Faul (Rollie) and Jeffery Faul (Kathy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas "Tommy" Davidson, sister, Madge Navarro, and brother-in-law, Ronald "Spook" Begneaux.

Guy was proud to be a voluntary fireman and once held the office of assistant Fire Chief. He was fireman of the year for 2 years and was the first EMT for the Welsh Fire Department.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on January 31, 2026 at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Wayne Chapman officiating. Guy's wishes were to be cremated and he will be laid to rest at a later date.
