Homer Joseph Leger Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Juanita “Janie” Leger; sons, Homer Leger, Jr. (Chantell), Welsh and Cody Leger, Pine Island; daughter, Brandy Hoffpauir (Kelly), Evangeline; step-son, Tommy Goodin, Longview, TX brother, Larry Leger, Beaumont, TX; sisters, Brenda Manuel, JoAnn Burchert, both of Vidor, TX, Mary Leger, Hallsville, TX, Judy Corbello, Lacassine, Cindy LeJeune, and Donna Ardoin, both of Welsh.

Homer is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 3 Great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Obrey Leger and Ethel Fontenot Leger; sister, Kathy Roberts and step-daughter, Tonya Zapata.

Memorial service will commence at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Pastor Kevin Colson will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date.
