Jimmy Dean Cormier Jr.

Jimmy grew up in Bridge City, Texas and graduated from Bridge City High School. Jimmy spent his time currently working at The Work Shop in Beaumont, Texas, and he hated missing work. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and baseball as pastimes, but especially loved watching wrestling. He will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dean Cormier, Sr., paternal grandparents, Odelion and Rena Cormier, and maternal grandparents, Sam and Elizabeth Bell Meche.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Margaret Meche Cormier, four brothers, Philip Mark Cormier, Paul Wayne Cormier and wife, Donna, Michael Wade Cormier, and Warren Odelion Cormier all of Bridge City, Texas; 2 nephews, Ryan Blake Cormier and Gavin Paul Cormier; a great-niece, Luna Bliss Cormier; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 am. until time of service on Saturday, February 29, 2020 with a Rosary held at Noon at Hixson Funeral Chapel in Welsh, Louisiana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Rev. Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will follow in Bon Pasteur Cemetery in Welsh.
