He was born on August 11, 1952. A native of Jennings, Louisiana, John was raised in Lake Arthur and carried the values of hard work, faith, and family throughout his life.
John attended Goretti and later McNeese State University. He spent many years working in the oil field and served as a rental manager with Stines Lumber, where he was respected for his dedication and strong work ethic.
A Christian by faith, John treasured time spent with his family and enjoyed hobbies that reflected his love of the outdoors and sport shooting. He was a proud member of the NRA and found enjoyment in guns, target shooting, and making memories with those he loved most.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Beazer and Theresa Beazer; his wife, Nancy Beazer; and his brothers, Joseph Beazer and Tommy Beazer.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Elizabeth McGuire and Charlotte Beazer; sisters, Kay Nunez and Bridgid Beazer Glaeser; grandchildren, Gavin Beazer, Alec Mathis, Gwyn Yellott, and Felicity Mathis.
The family will welcome the public for a memorial visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 12pm until 1pm. A celebration of life service led by Hixson celebrant Jody Tyler will begin at 1pm.
