She is survived by her mother, Nancy W. Johnson of Welsh; sister, Claire (Chris) Angelle of Jennings; brothers, Patrick (Stacy) Johnson of Baton Rouge, Jim (Jane) Johnson of Welsh, Paul (Jessalyn) Johnson of Welsh as well as 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard W. Johnson, a sister, Amy Elizabeth Johnson, grandparents, Claude and Ruby Watkins and Jock and Mamie Johnson.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Father Herbert May will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the start of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Missionaries of Charity, 737 East Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA.
