Marilyn Jane (Ratcliff) Fisher, age 91, of Welsh, LA. passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at her home. She was born in Lake Charles, LA. on October 19, 1930, but grew up in Welsh. In her early years, she worked for Allied Van Lines in Lake Charles and Van Ness Pump in Welsh. After marrying Sam Fisher, she spent most of her adult life on their farm outside of Fenton, before retiring to Welsh.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Sam Fisher.
A Graveside Service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh, LA. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 2:00pm, with Brother Pat Deshotel officiating.
