Mica earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from McNeese State University and went on to work as a schoolteacher. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the LaGrange Gatorette Danceline. Mica enjoyed working out and fitness, social media, and seasonal decorating. Among her greatest accomplishments was raising her three children.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Thomas James Reinsch; two daughters, Bailey Therese Reinsch and Andee Paige Reinsch; two grandchildren, Colter Brett Hockersmith and Noah James Hockersmith; brother, Sammy Kay Simmons; and sister, Carolyn Lois Simmons Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sammy Kay Simmons and Linda Therese Benoit Simmons.
The family will welcome the public for a graveside memorial service at 10:00am on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Cemetery.
