Rosemary Poole Brown

Rosemary was a jack of all trades and picked up any job that kept her moving. Through her life she connected with many souls along the way, never staying still, and always being an ear for those who need it. Her passions were creative. Anything she could get her hands on; drawing, painting, crocheting, and gardening. She thrived on matters of the heart and loved being around others.

She is survived by her two sons and daughter: Jesse Poole of Lake Charles, LA. Alex (Randi) Courville of Ashdown, AR. Lisa Daigle of Seattle, WA; and her grandchildren: Gavin (Psymon) Poole of Welsh, LA. Audrey Poole of Jennings, LA. Allie, Chad, and Ayden Courville of Ashdown, AR. Kyleigh Neck of Marksville, LA. One brother and five sisters: Dudley Joseph Poole of Opelousas, LA. Julie Fruge of Welsh, LA. Phyllis Andrus, Lisa (Harold) Reber and Paula Broussard of Bell City. LA. Tammy (Albert) Martin of Hackberry, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Dudley and Azena (Arceneaux) Poole and three brothers; Daniel, Michael and Malcom Poole.

We would like to give a special Thank You to all the staff at Golden Age of Welsh, LA and to all the doctors and nurses in the ER and ICU at Oschners of Jennings, LA for all the love and care given to her through this journey and to Harbor Hospice of Lake Charles, LA for the care given in closing this chapter of her life.

Cremation services were entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.
