Ruby Monceaux Constance

Lake Charles - Ruby Monceaux Constance, 75, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 in a local hospital.

She loved gardening, raising her farm animals, cooking, and was known for her Turtle Sauce Picante. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Rayford Veillon and wife Penny of Breaux Bridge; Johnny Constance of Lacassine; step son, Donnie Constance and wife Joy of Woodlawn; daughters, Rhonda Young and husband A.D. of Evangeline; Rachel Reeves of Lake Charles; Debbie Veillon of LeBleu Settlement; step daughter, Rachel Toups and husband Ernie of Houma; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Asa Constance; parents, John and Viola Breaux Monceaux; brother, Robert Monceaux and step grandson, Brian Keith Constance.

A Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Rev. Charles Hugonin will officiate. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
