Sandra Charlene Hargrave

Sandra was a faithful member of Bethel Family Church in Jennings. She enjoyed working at the family business, Ruth’s Café in Jennings alongside her mother for many years. All those who know her, held her in the highest esteem for being a loving caregiver who earnestly took care of all her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years; Jerry Hargrave, Sr., a son; Jerry Hargrave, Jr. & fiancée, Pam Meche, a daughter; Angela Andrepont & husband Troy, all of Roanoke, brothers; William Joseph, Thomas Glenn, and Ronnie Dalton Campbell, and sisters; Sharon C. Taylor, Carla C. Cormier, and Elner White.

Sandra is also survived by 6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will commence at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. The rosary recital will be Monday at 6:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until Christian Service at 10:00 a.m. in Hixson Chapel. Pastor Randy Caswell will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in the “Garden of the Angels” section In Jennings.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; Ira Andrew Campbell & Eunice “Ruth” Lincecum Campbell, brothers; Barrett, Eldridge, Ellis, Edwin, and Farrell Campbell, and sister; Ara C. Raschel.
