She was born in Fenton, LA and lived in the Fenton and Lacassine area all her life and graduated from Lacassine High School. She always placed her family and others first. She was a selfless person.
She is survived by her son, Shane Pitre of Fenton; daughter, Katrina Johnson of Fenton; brother, Fred Frederick of Welsh; sisters, Mary Degeyter of Lake Charles and Johanna Frederick of Fenton; grandson, Brody Johnson of Fenton.
Services will be Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11:00am at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm and resume Thursday at 9:00am until time of service. Burial will follow at LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton.
