She was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh and also sang in the church Choir. She enjoyed reading and tending to her flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Meyer of Welsh; daughter, Kayla Meyer of Lafayette; brothers, Roy Mott and wife, Noreen of Houma, Robin Mott of New Orleans, Karl Mott and wife, Darlene of Houma; sisters, Glenda Geisendorff and husband, Gus of Conroe, TX, Charlotte Lyon and husband, Jeff of Welsh, Elizabeth Cannon and husband, Jim of Houma. She was preceded in death by her parents, R. A. and Leona Mott.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Seven Dolors. Rev. Herbert May and Rev. Whitney Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh.
