Oh, how we miss you already, Tía Yaya! Thank you for stepping up to the plate when my mom departed from this world, and being there for me. I enjoyed tagging along with your own family, and the opportunity of road trips you provided when I was growing up. I‘m going to miss your contagious laugh, dry sense of humor and our phone calls. I love the fact that you boldly proclaimed Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior. What a beautiful declaration for others to see and hear. Until we reunite in HIS presence. Love you very much, Tia Yaya 💕 ~Lucy

Grandma Yaya, I love you pieces! There was never a time you left me. Your random calls at 7 in the morning to invite me to breakfast even though most of the time I was at work are something I’m going to miss. I will miss the “ayy Kristina” the “did you go to church last night you look tired” I love you so much! Grandma thank you! Thank you the past 27 years of great memories!

Tia was my Mom’s sister. First time meeting her & Tia Caro they came to visit when we met them so hard to believe they were Aunts as they were so young and more our age. But fell in love with them both. Even though we didn’t get to see them often Mom always kept us updated on their lives. When we finally got to go visit the family in Texas we were greeted with open arms and lots of love. RIP Tia you have won the race.

For me the name "Yaya" is how I will always remember her. She had the best sense of humor and was always willing to listen. She never faltered in telling me how proud she was of me and my accomplishments. She was a pleasure to be around and I would like to let her family know my heart is with them. Lillian, Nana, and Georgie I am so sorry for your loss. The world is now short two amazingly humble women but restassured Heaven has gained some angels. My prayers are with the family at this time 💞 love you girls Audrey, Neida, and Kristina
