With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Adolio Cruz, who entered into eternal rest on July 30, 2026, at the age of 79. He was born on February 20, 1947, and passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
Adolio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family. He shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Mary L. Cruz, building a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering dedication.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Mary L. Cruz; his children, Perla (Rolando) Rosalez, Ruby Coronado, Graciela (Mauricio) Camarena, Raquel Cruz, and Elva (Alfonso) Piña. He was a proud grandfather to Elena, Zenaida, Aaron, Andres, Isaac, Pedro, Adolio, Carolina, Kellie, Kerrie, Korrie, and Gabby. He was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren and eagerly anticipated the arrival of his great-granddaughter, who will forever be a part of his legacy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Arnulfo Cruz and Elva Hinojosa, as well as his cherished children, Adolio Cruz Jr. and Elena Cruz.
Adolio had a deep love for fishing and found peace on the water, but nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by his family. Whether sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying time together, he treasured every moment with those he loved. His gentle spirit, quiet strength, and generous heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
