

She loved dancing and BBQing with friends and family, her plants and working in her yard, her Christmas Lights/Holidays, Oldies Music, play Dr. Mario and solitaire, Cooking, taking care of her family, cherished her parents and siblings,enjoyed listening to music and car rides, loved the color red, making people laugh, liked Chuck Norris, Shirly Temple, and Texas Walker movies, and also liked listening to Hometown Boys, she volunteered for WISD for many years,
Alicia is survived by her spouse, Luis Hernandez Jr, her children, Sulema Hernandez (Antonio Dillard), Luis Hernandez III (Sulema Hernandez), Julie H. Chavarria (Ernest Chavarria), Lisa Morales (Ricardo Morales), Daniel Hernandez (Sara Charlene), her grandchildren, Ana Alicia Tran, Heather Andrea Freeman, Luis Hernandez IV, Jessica Andrea Freeman, Taylor Rene Hernandez, Howard James Freeman Jr., Ricardo Morales, Angelina Ani Hernandez, Julia Nicole Chavarria, Iliana Morales, Ernest Chavarria Jr., Alicia , Hernandez, Danny Hernandez, her great grandchildren, Ashton James Freeman, Luca Jay Zeisler, Zara Alicia Tran
Alicia was preceded in death by her parents, Abundio Herrera, Andrea Herrera, her sister, Ramona H. Delgado.
A visitation for Alicia will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A rosary will occur Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St Martin De Porres Catholic Church, Weslaco, TX. A burial will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
