Anna Elia was born in Cotulla, Texas on February 10, 1966 to Reyes M. Aguero and Silvia January. She attended Mercedes High school in Mercedes, Texas.
Anna Elia was married to Epifanio (Wito) Camacho on November 1,1996; they were married for 24 years.
Anna Elia worked several different professions during her lifetime. At a young age, Anna Elia got first hand experience helping others as she helped out at her family’s restaurant. Her approachable personality and infectious smile always seem to draw people in for a friendly conversation. She worked as a receptionist at the Law office of Ellis, Koeneke & Ramirez, as well as, the Law office of Thomas & Gonzales in McAllen, Texas. Later, Anna Elia and her husband, Wito, started their own company, AEC Industries. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, crochet knitting, watching Korean dramas, reading the bible, and spending time with family and friends. Anna Elia was also actively involved in participating in church events and ultimately serving the Lord.
Anna Elia is survived by her husband, Epifanio (Wito) Camacho, her sons, Marcus Perez (Yasumaily “La Nina”) and Luis (Louie) Camacho. Her Father and step Mother, Reyes and Rosa Aguero and her Mother, Sylvia De La Rosa (Homero †). Her brothers and sisters, Lupina Aguero, Frankie January, Jessica Aguero Flores (Yune), Marylou Aguero, Humberto Herrera (Gladys), Irene Aguero Soto, Reyes Aguero Jr. (Diana), Manuel Alberto Aguero (Raquel). As well as many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Anna Elia is preceded in death by her step father, Homero De La Rosa and her in laws, Mario & Berta Camacho.
The funeral service will be held at Highland Memorial Park Funeral Home 6705 N Fm 88, Weslaco, Tx 78599. Pastor Rene Aguilar of Precious Anointing Ministries will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 3rd at 5:00pm – 11:00pm at Highland Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Friday June 4th at 9:00am – 3:00pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Highland Memorial Park Funeral Home.
