Armando is survived by son Ethan Anthony Elizondo; and daughter Amanda Abigail Ortega; father Armando Ortega and mother Aurora Ortega Romo; brother Michael Ortega and brother Peter Ortega; significant other Rebecca England, maternal grandmother Juanita Romo, paternal grandmother Isidra Ortega, nephew Peter Jake Ortega Jr. and nephew Tommy Ortega.

Armando was preceded in death by brother Steve Ortega.

Visitation Services for Armando will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home located at 6705 N FM 88 in Weslaco, Texas. A Mass will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Weslaco, Texas followed with the Entombment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
