Balvina V. Vasquez, age 88, of Monte Alto, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Balvina was born September 6, 1931.

Balvina is survived by; son Fidencio Ybarra Jr.; daughter Guadalupe Y. Hernandez; daughter Emma Gene Lopez; daughter Norma Linda Vega; daughter Sylvia M. Robinson; daughter Rosemary R. Garcia; daughter Diana L. Muñoz; and daughter Maria Irma Vasquez; brother Roberto Cardoza. Mrs. Vasquez has 28 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 33 great-great-grandchildren.

Balvina was preceded in death by; son Antonio Ybarra and son Baby Vasquez; mother Juanita Sosa Cardoza and step-father Pedro Cardoza; brother Jose Villarreal; brother Guadalupe Villarreal and brother Pedro "Pete" Cardoza; and sister Eduviges "Vicky" Alviar.

Visitation Services for Balvina will be held Monday, December 16, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 12:00 midnight at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home (6705 N FM 88 Weslaco, Texas) with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas followed with the Interment at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
