Benito Cano Jr.

Benito is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sylvia A. Cano, his children Veronica (Rick) Garza, Vanessa Roberson, Benito Cano III and his only grandson Ryan M. Garza. Benito is also survived by his siblings, Margot Maruska, Sylvia Cano, Maggie Segundo and Maxine Gutierrez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Benito is now reunited with his parents Benito and Maria Ignacia Cano.

Benito was a wonderful husband and father. He was Sylvia's best friend and the love of her life. He was a hero to his children and loved being a grandfather most of all. Benito was a kind hearted man with a great sense of humor and a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan for life. Rest in peace my love, dad, daddy, grandpa and brother.

A memorial service for Benito will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service led by Pastor Basilio Castillo at 6:00 PM followed by performance by Mariachi Mundial from 7 pm to 8 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596. An interment will occur Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at RGV Veterans Cemetery, Mission, TX.
