

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Mae Wilmot, whose kindness, warmth, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Born on November 30, 1942 to Dale and Lillian Percy. Bonnie was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and over the course of her life lived in Jacksonville, Florida and in Illinois for more than 30 years before making her way to Donna, Texas.
Bonnie truly never met a stranger. She had an extraordinary gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and heard. Whether it was a lifelong friend or someone she had just met, she had a way of striking up a conversation that left others feeling like they had known her for years. Her genuine interest in people and her natural ability to connect with others made her a cherished friend to many.
Bonnie's infectious smile could brighten even the darkest day. She carried herself with warmth, compassion, and a sense of humor that brought comfort and joy to those around her. Her laughter was contagious, and her positive outlook on life inspired everyone she met.
More than anything, Bonnie loved people. She found happiness in spending time with family and friends, sharing stories, offering encouragement, and creating lasting memories. Her generous heart, caring nature, and unwavering kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Bonnie is survived by her son, David Wilmot (Lily Leduc), and her grandson, Joshua Lee Wilmot.
Bonnie is now reunited with her children Richard George Wilmot Jr., Randy Dean Wilmot, and Chawn Marie Yates and her parents Dale and Lillian Percy.
