Brenda Gaye Garcia, 69, left to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Valley View Memory Care in Harlingen. She was born on October 15, 1955 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Brenda loved and devoted her life to her Pomeranian furbabies. While she was still well and able she enjoyed being outside, gardening and tending to her yard. Brenda and her husband, Alvaro were inseparable, and loved spending all their time together, taking weekend getaways to Arroyo City for some fishing. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of almost 34 years, Alvaro Garcia; her sons: George Kevin Pool and Michael Stump and her grandson, Christopher Stump. She will also be greatly missed by her siblings: Alice Richardson, Gael & Jim Cates. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 10 am to 1 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco followed by a graveside service at 2 pm at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
