I have known these beautiful people Joe and Cecilia for the better halve of my 75 years on this earth.  My deepest condolences to the Rodriguez family on the passing of Cecilia.  May she rest in peace in the living arms of our Lord. Let us not forget her Legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren and those of she touched in her life. Our deepest sympathies to Joe, Yani, Nadia, Jojo, and the grandkids. You know that you and Ceci are more than just family friends. You are family. 
Ceci (and Joe) took my family (Ruiz) in when we didn’t have a place to live (she wouldn’t take no for an answer). She was always there when my dad (Daniel) was sick and we needed someone to talk to, cry with, or simply a hug. 
Ceci was a pillar, standing strong when others couldn’t. A strong, defiant woman who was greatly needed in our lives. She spoke truths we sometimes didn’t care to hear but eventually realized and accepted. Her wisdom was always on time and her heart always in the right place. I pray she knew how much we appreciated that. 
Ceci, our family is devastated with your loss and our hearts are broken. Your loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. And now, it is our turn to be the pillar for your family. 
I thank God for the last few moments I was able to share with you on what I know now were your last days. It is a blessing and gift I will cherish forever.  ❤️  Rest in peace our dear, dear friend.

All of the family is in my prayers. Her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews but especially for me Nadia, Yani, Joe Joe, Papa Joe, Sian, Aidan,  Alexa, Eli and Jace. I know you are all hurting. I am hoping that knowing she is no longer in pain will give you some peace. I know that when you think of her now you may be sad, my hope for you all is that in time those thoughts will begin to bring you smiles and joy for all the years you did have her with you physically.
