Claudio is survived by his daughter Sylvia Rios (Idelfonso Rios) and his son Claudio Valdez (Dolores); his sister Maria Sanchez and brother Jacinto Valdez and his grandchildren Rolando Alvarado, Beatriz Alvarado, Sebastian Valdez and Isaac Valdez.
Claudio was preceded in death by his wife Francisca Valdez, his sister Ramona Cantu and his brother Jose (Nacho) Valdez.
Claudio was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved singing karaoke, especially mariachi music and loved to play the accordion. Mr. Valdez loved his profession as a truck driver, ever since the age of 14. He will be missed by many, and will forever live in our hearts.
A visitation for Claudio will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX. A church service will occur Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 1100 Broadway St., Elsa, TX 78543, followed by the interment at 3:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
