Daniel Mendez

Daniel was a caring person, loved to help and take care of others. He loved to fish, swim, play video games, ride horses and his bike. Daniel was a jokester, he enjoyed pranking people and making them laugh. Above all, Daniel was a respectful, loyal, strong, brave boy, he loved his family immensely and was a great friend, he was always there when you needed him. He was a member of Notorious Street Racing bike crew.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Claudia Ovalle and his siblings: Rigo Mendez, Isabella Gisselle Mendez, Jonathan Mendez and Nicholas Mendez.

He is now reunited with his beloved father, Rigo Mendez; who has preceded him in death.

Family will start receiving friends Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 12 pm and ending Friday, February 9, 2024 at 9 am at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco; a rosary will be recited at 7 pm Thursday, February 8, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 9, 2024 at 10 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
