David Valdez, age 44, of Mercedes, Texas left to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Mankato, Minnesota. He was born on August 9, 1979 in Miami, Florida. David graduated from Mercedes High School. He enjoyed watching La Bamba and Cantinflas movies; listening to Selena, Los Tigres del Norte and Vicente Fernandez. He is now reunited with his parents: Arnulfo & Natalia Valdez; brother, Jose Ociel Valdez and sister, Jesusa Valdez who have preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are his loving siblings: Ralph Valdez, Arnulfo Valdez Jr, Juan Valdez, Alfredo Valdez, Antonia Valdez Dann & Benny Valdez.
Family will receive friends Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Funeraria del Angel Highland. Interment will follow at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.
