

David Allen Warden was born on May 15, 1957, in Tacoma, Washington, to Dr. Don Page Warden and Dr. Lenore Sponsler Warden. A dedicated educator, David spent 35 years shaping the lives of students as a high school teacher, leaving behind a lasting legacy of service and mentorship.
A man of deep faith and a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Weslaco, David was most proud of his family. He was a loving husband to his beautiful wife, Magda Warden, and a cornerstone for his children and grandchildren.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Magda; his son, Jonathan Warden of Weslaco; and his daughter, Kimberly Langley, and husband, Aaron of McAllen. He was the cherished grandfather to Brooklyn and Camryn Langley. He is also survived by his brother, Hank Warden and wife Johnna of Kaufman, Texas; and his sisters, Shawn Warden and Shay Warden of Gilmer, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr Don Warden, Dr Lenore Sponsler Warden, and his brother, Dr. Rusty Warden.
A visitation for David will be held on April 1, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A chapel Service will be held on April 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm with a burial to follow. All services will be taken place at Funeraria Del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596.
