Mr. Warden made an impact in my life and for that, I will always remember him. I was not a big reader until he gave us an assignment that required us to read a book. I grew to find my favorite author, Francine Rivers. The book he suggested is still my favorite book, and I even read all her other books because of the Christian fiction. He taught me to venture out in my faith and I’m so glad I had the pleasure of having him as my teacher (class of 2017) and mentor in my faith. May he rest in peace.

This was my last class ever with Mr Warden when I was a high school junior.  His love for teaching made me look forward to his class. His classroom smelled like hazelnut coffee. His class was surely my favorite and I couldn’t walk out of without taking a picture with my favorite teacher. Rest in peace Mr Warden and my deepest condolences to Mrs warden and their children.

My deepest condolences to the Warden family. Mr. Warden was my debate coach in D.H.S. It was because of him that I joined the debate club. He always took me under his wing. He was always supportive in my studies. And I know he never forgot how I won 1 debate round on a 45 second rebuttal lol. You will be greatly missed Mr. Warden.

I was so sorry to hear of David's passing.I remember David in high school as being a gentle soul who always had a kind word for others.My condolences to his family and friends.He is going to be missed until we meet again some day.

I am so sorry for your loss, Shawn, Rusty & Shay and David's family. He was a sweet guy. I had fun, as teens, working with David at Harrington's. Also, knowing he lived across the street from my Momma & sister gave me comfort. Hold your memories near & dear, and we send you prayers for peace. The Warden family have always been good people!

Mr. Warden was the BEST teacher ever! I had him for AP US History at Medhigh junior year - this was my favorite class not because of the subject, but because Mr. Warden made class so much fun. He taught conversation-style and would get the entire class riled up debating him. 

My fondest memory of him: I was having a pretty bad day one time and was skipping class to walk around the hallways when we bumped into each other. He stopped me, and I thought it was either to tell me to get back to class or to poke fun at me (we used to go pretty head to head in class on those debates!). I don’t know if he could tell that it wasn’t my day or if it was just his kindness (that man was so kind), but he told me my personality was infectiously vibrant and to never change that about myself. To him, it was probably a passing sentiment but it meant everything to me. I still look back to that memory for strength after all this time. 

I am so sorry to learn about this tremendous loss, and send all my love and condolences to the Warden family.
