Domingo was a classmate @ Weslaco High school ..He was a very smart, respectful Person .willing to help anyone.My deepest Condolences.

Two years ago today, our Heavenly Father called you to rest. Was the hardest thing I've ever had to go through and still hard to face each day without you. You're always on my mind. I have very beautiful memories of you, with you. I'm so thankful that I got to spend 42 borrowed years with you as my brother. Hand picked by God to be my brother. I miss you so much!! I will never stop remembering all those beautiful times we got to share. Until the day I draw my last breath, then slip into eternity, I will see you again my beloved brother. I love you always!! First of all, I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to the Jasso, Hernandez and Burnias family, on the loss of your loved ones during these difficult times.  I met Domingo back in middle school while we were both in band.  Although we ran in different circles, everyone (including myself), knew he was a great kid.  In high school, we still ran in different circles but everyone (including myself), knew he was a great kid.  Although I did not have the pleasure of calling Domingo "a friend", Domingo always carried himself in a way that let you know he was a great, young man.  Looking back, now with children of my own, he is the kind of "kid" you hope your child will turn into.  I can see from the messages left behind,  that "greatness" followed him into adulthood.  How beautiful that it has molded into the love of a family.   To his sister Melissa... My one and only year in band, in high school, have memories of seeing you at the band hall. 
You were there visiting your brother and supporting him.  When I read of Domingos passing, you came to mind.  I have no doubts and neither should you, that you were a great big sister.  My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his children, wife and wonderful family.  

On behalf of the entire U.S. Customs and Border Protection family, I extend my most heartfelt condolences to CBP Officer Jasso’s family and friends.  Domingo, your CBP family will continue your work of vigilance, service, and integrity in the protection of our country.

Domingo and I have similar paths to CBP; both of us worked at KRGV-TV, Channel 5 News, joined CBP, and ended up working at the Great Progreso Port of Entry. 

Monica, Jennifer, Faith, and Alizae, please know that you can call on my family and me at any time, as well as our extended CBP family that's 61,000 strong, know that y’all are in our thoughts and prayers every day and that the memory of Domingo will live on through our memories of knowing and working with him.

Rest in peace brother, l love you. You will never be forgotten and will always live in our hearts. Truly one of the most selfless, persons l know. I will always remember you calling me after my dad passed this last Father's day and telling me you'd be there if l needed someone to talk to. Rest in peace brother, till we meet again. 

It pains me knowing how much my Jasso family has gone through these past couple of weeks.  Words can never express the pain we feel - but I find comfort knowing that Jehova God has collected an angel to fulfill his duty in heaven.  In bible times, trumpets were used to signify important events.  I truly believe in my heart that Junior has taken his spot as one of those seven angels that will be sounding their trumpets; he was called home to prepare to fill the prophecy we all are waiting for.   I am proud to say that my cousin was picked for this specific job - and the day we hear those trumpets sound off - I hope you find comfort in your heart knowing that it's Junior calling us all home!

The most beautiful memory of my son that I will not hear him say anymore is "I love you Dad." Throughout the years between Elementary and High School he would always say "I love you Dad" as I dropped him off at school. It didn't matter who was around and even around friends where most kids would normally be embarrassed, it didn't matter to him, he would even shout it out sometimes. One day, after I dropped him off with his friends in front of the Band Hall, as I drove off, I heard a voice shouting. Looking in my rear view mirror I see my son running towards me.  I stopped as he caught up to me and says "I love you Dad" because he had forgotten to tell me as I dropped him off with his friends. During this difficult time while in the hospital, he was unable to communicate; however, once my son had already been taken to heaven, he managed to visit me one last time while I slept. I felt a hand touch my right foot waking me out of my sleep and heard my son's voice saying one last time "I love you Dad." In that moment I cried asking God if this was just a dream. I cried out "I love you too mijo." 

Dear Jasso Family,

Friendships develop and coexist with the passing of time, and this friend will miss you.  The waters stood still when your journey was known. 

 His absence will be heartfelt, our jobs will be listless and lonely without our comrade.  Receive our most deepest condolences.

I went to pray the rosary today and cried at the thought of losing Domingo so suddenly, cried for you his family, for his daughter, for him. as I tried to go about my days pleasures and joyful moments I quickly thought of your sorrows and my moments were muted by his loss. I can Picture his youthful smile, my deepest regret is not telling him how wonderful he was after school and as we got “older”.  Please accept my sincerest condolences.
