Elisama Resendez

Left to cherish her memory are her parents: Victoria Resendez and Homero Resendez; children: Damian Alaniz, Valerie Alaniz, Cristian Alaniz, Bianca Alaniz; grandchildren: Emerie Garcia, Malaynah Alaniz, Angelo Alaniz and Damian Alaniz Jr. and her siblings: Edna Resendez, Eric Resendez, Monica Resendez.

Elisama attended Edcouch- Elsa High School from 1992 - 1995 and earned her GED in Tyler, Texas. She had a beautiful smile and always saw the good side of everything. Elisama was a fighter. She loved Rock N Roll, Selena, Country and Tejano music, she enjoyed dancing and karaoke, going to the beach and seeing the sunrise and sunset. She wrote poetry and loved watching movies. Her children, grandchildren and friends were what she loved most of all.

Family will receive friends Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM to Monday, June 13, 2022 at 9:00 AM with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 13, 2022 at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch, followed by the interment at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel Highland of Weslaco.
