Elsa was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister whose warmth, strength, and compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She found her greatest joy in her family and created countless memories that will be treasured for generations.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Sonia Cruz and Ernesto Cruz. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kaitlyn Ruiz, Tabitha Ruiz, Zabrina Cruz, Roxanne Cruz, Alexis Cruz, and Marcus Cruz, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
Elsa is also survived by her sister, Ofelia Cabrales.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Pete Cruz Jr.; her parents, Amelia Lugo and Jose Bocanegra; and her siblings, Filimon Bocanegra, Miguel Bocanegra, Osvaldo Bocanegra, Jose Bocanegra, Fausto Bocanegra, and Socorro Bocanegra.
Elsa's legacy lives on through the love she shared, the values she instilled in her family, and the lasting impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to live in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, sister, extended family, and friends.
