Eriberto Garcia

Eriberto will be remembered for the love he gave so freely to his family and for the strength, warmth, and presence he brought to those fortunate enough to know him. His life was rooted in devotion to the people he loved, and his memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the lessons passed down, and the deep love held by his family.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Esperanza Garcia; his children, Maricela Garcia, Maria Alicia Schaetzel (Mike), Martha Ortegon (Bert), Melinda Garcia, and Daniel Garcia; as well as nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

Eriberto is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved son, Eriberto Garcia Jr., and his parents, Arturo Garcia and Elisa Vela.

Though he will be deeply missed, Eriberto’s love and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of his family. May he rest in peace.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596, on September 14, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am, with a Prayer Service at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco, TX 78596, on September 14, 2026, beginning at 7:00 pm.

A Chapel Service will take place at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596, on September 15, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am, followed by Interment at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596, on September 15, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am.
