Esther Sanchez Barbosa

Esther Sanchez Barbosa, 79, left to be with the Lord on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. She was born to Leonardo Sanchez and Amelia Nino on April 30, 1943 in Weslaco, Texas. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Francisco Barbosa; sons: Aaron Lee Barbosa, Robert Barbosa; six grandchildren and one brother. Esther enjoyed getting away with her husband to Eagle Pass, Las Vegas or New Orleans to have some fun gambling at the casinos. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 pm, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel Highland of Weslaco.
