

Born on March 3, 1923, in Mercedes, Texas, Esther spent much of her life in the La Villa and Edcouch, Texas communities, where she built a life centered around faith, family, and hard work. She was known for her loving heart, resilience, and the care she gave to those around her throughout her life.
Esther is survived by her three sons, Andrew Ramirez Jr. (Lucille), Donald Ramirez (Mona), and Howard Ramirez (LaDona). She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who will continue to cherish her memory and carry forward the love and values she instilled in her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew Ramirez Sr., with whom she is now reunited, as well as her children, Diana Ramirez and Edward Ramirez.
With sincere appreciation, the family thanks Father Jose Maria Villalon for his prayers, and service in remembrance of Esther Ramirez.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Lucille Cavazos and all the wonderful staff at Waterford Gardens in Mission, Texas for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Esther throughout her time there.
Esther’s life was a blessing to all who knew her. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
