It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fidel Amando Garcia, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, who left this world on September 13, 2023 at the age of 90 years. His life was a testament to the values of God, peace, hard work, craftsmanship and an immeasurable love for his family.
Born on January 20, 1933 in the City of Mier, Tamaulipas Mexico, Amando Garcia was a man of many talents and passions. His hands were skilled in the art of knife making and metalwork, and his creations were nothing short of remarkable. With every stroke of his hammer and every curve of his blade, he poured his heart and soul into his work, leaving behind a legacy of exquisite craftsmanship that will be cherished for generations to come. In addition to his dedication to his craft, Amando was a true steward of the land. He was a farmer at heart, tending to the fields and nurturing life from the soil. His connection to the land ran deep, and he instilled in his family the importance of hard work, patience, and the beauty of watching something grow and flourish.
Yet, above all his passions, Amando’s greatest love was his family. He was a patriarch who radiated warmth, wisdom, and an unwavering devotion to those he held dear. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life, and he reveled in every moment spent with them, passing on his knowledge, values, and the joy of life's simple pleasures.
Amando was a man of few words but profound actions. His presence had a calming effect, and his smile could light up any room. He taught us the value of hard work, the beauty of creation, and the importance of cherishing our loved ones. His legacy will live on not only through the tangible works of art he left behind but also in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we mourn his loss, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives, the love he shared so generously, and the lessons he imparted. Amando will be dearly missed, but his spirit lives on in the memories we hold close and the love we continue to share within our family.
Though Amando may no longer be with us in body, his legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire us to embrace our passions, cultivate our bonds, and cherish each precious moment in this beautiful journey of life. Rest in peace, dear Amando. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
