Francisca Adame

Francisca Adame, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was a strong, independent and hard working woman. Francisca will be remembered for her resilience and a love for celebrating life with her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Eloisa (Jose) Rangel, Lile (Manuel†) Cabrera, Zulema Rivera, Reynaldo Rivera, Velma (Luis) Alvarado, Rebecca (Hector) Montalvo and Marisela (Arnold) Galvan and her daughter in law Sara Rivera. She will also be greatly missed by two brothers, two sisters, 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Francisca was preceded in death by her son Rogelio Rivera, her grandsons Roel Rivera and Rogelio Rivera Jr. and her son in law Manuel Cabrera. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel of Weslaco.
