Francisca G. Silva was born on October 10, 1938, and passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 87. A longtime resident of Edcouch, Texas, she leaves behind a family who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Francisca attended Agape Adult Daycare and enjoyed playing loteria with her sisters. Those moments, shared in laughter and companionship, were part of the warmth she brought to the people around her. Above all, she cherished her family and adored her seven grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Sigifredo Silva Jr., Javier Silva, Adelina Alanis (Cornelio), and Sandra Mariscal (Juan); and by her grandchildren, Marco Alanis, Christian Alanis, Abigail Alanis, Ana Sofia Mariscal, Juan Mariscal Jr., Juaquin Mariscal, and Ismael Silva.
Francisca’s love will live on in the stories her family shares, the memories they hold close, and the everyday moments that remind them of her. Though they will miss her deeply, the bond they shared will continue to bring comfort and keep her close.
The visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599, on September 24, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and the rosary will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78599, on September 24, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
The funeral mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1100 N Broadway St, Elsa, TX 78543, on September 25, 2026, at 1:00 pm, followed by the burial at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599, on September 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
