Francisca Vasquez

Francisca Vasquez, 78, left to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2023 at McAllen Heart Hospital. She was born to Jose Izaguirre Gonzalez and Maria Moncerrat Echavarria Ramirez on April 10, 1945 in Mexico. Francisca enjoyed attending her adult center, shopping, dancing, playing bingo and eating out. She always well dressed and loved to tend to her flowers and cactus. Francisca loved to surround herself with her children and grandchildren; her favorite color was purple/lilac and enjoyed eating some good cabrito. She is now reunited with her beloved husband: Genaro Vasquez, who has preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Pascual (Manuela) Vasquez, Jose Luis (Santa) Vasquez, Diana Isela (Rafael) Vasquez, Marisol (Pablo) Vasquez de Ortega and Gabriela (Jose Alberto Garza) Vasquez.She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Genaro Vasquez, Saul Vasquez, Pascual Vasquez Jr, Alondra Vasquez, Luis Noel Vasquez, Adriana Vasquez, Alex Vasquez, Adrian Vasquez, Jessica Davila, Ashley Jasso, Rafael Garza Jr, Kasey Garza, Keisha Garza and Pablo Ortega Jr.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 26, 2023 from 11 am to 12 pm, Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
