Francisco Acosta

Mr. Francisco Acosta entered eternal rest on Saturday April 2, 2022 at 12:38pm at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco at the age of 55. He was born on June 28, 1966 in Raymondville, TX to Juan B. Acosta(†) and Maria M. Acosta. He was a resident of Edinburg.

Francisco is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Verónica D. Acosta, his children, Francisco Acosta Jr., Emmanuel Acosta and Jazmine Nichole Acosta and his mother Maria M. Acosta. His siblings, M. Guadalupe Olmeda, Hector Acosta (Anita), Antonio Acosta (Olga), Blanca Huerta (John), Nora Acosta, Alfredo Acosta (Tina), Gabriel Acosta (Alma), Ricardo Acosta (Sylvia), Edelmira Marin (Rafa), Armando Acosta and Maricela Zavala (Jesse), his mother in law Aurora Dávila V. and brother and sister in laws, José S. Dávila (Janie), Hector Dávila (Meme), Elsa Ramirez (Pete), Aurora Vela (Carlos), Francisca Hinojosa (Oscar†), Martha Dávila, Esmeralda Dávila, Violeta Muñoz (John), Marisol Dávila and Perlamar Dávila.

Francisco was preceded in death by his father Juan B. Acosta and his father in law José C. Dávila

Francisco graduated from Edinburg High School, class of 1995, and graduated from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX as a Respiratory Therapist. He worked at Valley Baptist, Life Care of South Texas, McAllen Medical, Solara Hospital and Knapp Medical Center, where he last worked.

Francisco was a loving husband, father, son, pastor and friend. He will be missed dearly by many and will forever live in our hearts.

Family will receive friends and family Monday, April 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78596. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM, followed by the interment at 3:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78596.
