My Tio George was a good-hearted and kind person. Family or new-comer, everyone always felt welcomed around him.

I remember when he started dating my Tia Odilia and he was trying to become part of the family. Unlike him, I was not as warm and welcoming towards him. Clearly he was trying to steal my Tia Yaya away from me! So when the circus came to town George saw this as his opportunity to make things right with a 5-year-old kid who was feeling left out. He took me and Tia Yaya to the circus. I still remember having fun with both of them watching the trapeze acts and the elephants. On the ride home I fell asleep in the backseat of the car feeling so happy. He won me over and the rest is history.

Tio, you will be missed.

My Tio George was always teaching me something when I was growing up.

My earliest memory with Tio George was at a baseball game, he taught me how to make paper airplanes and we threw them from the bleachers.

Before JR's wedding Tio taught me how to tie a windsor knot. He must have done it thousand times before because he did it with ease. I've tried many times since then and I still can't pull one off.

Another lesson of his, which I didn't realize until now, was Tio George always gave me his complete and undivided attention no matter the situation. As if there was nothing in the world but him and I. I still remember the look in his eyes when we talked.

Tio George called me Raymie, he taught me things that I've yet to master and he will be missed.

Goodbye my Tio George, I love you and I will take you with me everywhere I go.

I always loved Wally. He was always happy and he always had a funny story. Javier loved Wally too, and always looked up to him. May God’s love and grace surround Odilia and Crystal. You will remain in my prayers.
