

Lupita dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her family. Her homemade flour tortillas were legendary. Her children and grandchildren always looked forward to coming home to a nice hot meal with her delicious flour tortillas or for the little ones to have a rolled up tortillas with butter. Her greatest joy came from spending time with God and her family. She was not only a wonderful mother and grandmother, she was a graceful, happy woman, a natural peace maker that always was willing to help. She devoted herself to her faith and to her church.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Pedro Guajardo Jr. (Rosalinda), Rafael Guajardo, Jose Angel Guajardo (Esmeralda), Irene Ovalle, Lucila Morin (Oscar), and Aida Gil (Eli). She is also survived by her husband Pedro Guajardo Sr., along with her grandchildren Jessica, Jennifer, Lisa, Pedro III, Luis Angel, Marisa, Maria Elva, Vicente, Mariano, Gloria, Emilio, Erica, Emmily, Evelyn, Oscar III, Justin, David, Gabriela, Julian, Jesse, Joel, and Elijah. Guadalupe was also blessed with 36 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Ramon Benitez, Maria Isabel Castillo, and Juana Benitez.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents Calixto Benitez and Josefa Benitez, and her siblings Juan Benitez, Arturo Benitez, and Maria Ester Vega.
Having the honor of serving as pallbearers are Ralph Guajardo, Joe Guajardo, Oscar Morin III, Benjamin Hernandez Jr., Emilio Ovalle, Julian Ramos, Jesse Ramos, and Joel Ramos Jr.
