Hector Martinez Peralez, 73, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 24, 2021. He was born to Faustino and Estella Peralez on November 4, 1947 in Weslaco, Texas. As a child he loved baseball, exploring outside, and fishing. He selected the trade of construction and painting, a profession he learned from his father. He married Alicia Piña in 1974 and proceeded to have 2 daughters Gina and Loni.
He spent his years building a successful self-owned business (Gin-Lo Drywall and Painting) providing endlessly for his family. His work ethic was admirable; he worked hard for those he loved and selflessly gave because he wanted more for his children. As a Godly man, he supported and protected his family throughout the storms of life. If you asked Hector what his greatest accomplishment was, he would answer the gift of being a father and grandfather. At first meeting him, he would appear to be a serious man, but upon knowing him you would realize his love, humor, and joy. At the time of his passing, he was living his best life - spending his time playing outside with his grandsons, spending quality time with his family, and working on home projects. Hector was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.
Preceded in his death were his father and mother Faustino and Estella Peralez, niece Amanda Bearden, and nephew Glen Raleigh.
Left to treasure his memory is his loving wife: Alicia Peralez, his daughters: Gina (Sergio), Loni (Domingo), his 2 best friends- his beloved grandsons Noah and Matthew, as well as his sisters: Delia Raleigh (Mike), Nancy Peralez, Penny Bearden (Les), and Jannette Vera (Armando).
Daddy, in Heaven may you soar high on the wings of angels. We love you and plan to reunite with you one day.
