Melinda Ramon, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and unshakable love that touched everyone blessed to know her.
Born into a large and lively family, Melinda grew up understanding the true value of connection, laughter, and hard work. Though she came from a big family, she found her greatest joy in creating a small one of her own — a home filled with warmth, understanding, and unconditional love.
Her proudest role was that of mother and grandmother. Melinda encouraged her children to be their best selves, celebrated their triumphs, and stood by them through life’s challenges with unwavering support. Her gentle strength and boundless love were constant sources of comfort and inspiration to those closest to her.
Melinda found happiness in life’s simple pleasures — quiet days spent fishing, watching movies with her family, or sharing long talks that always seemed to end in laughter. She had a remarkable gift for friendship, effortlessly turning strangers into lifelong companions. With her quick wit, radiant smile, and compassionate heart, Melinda had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued.
She viewed the world through a lens of optimism and grace, always seeing the good in others and offering a helping hand whenever it was needed. Her kindness and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland in honor of Melinda. Her family invites all who loved her to come together, share a laugh, spend time with loved ones, and find joy in the little things — just as she always did.
Melinda is survived by her husband, Norberto Gomez; her children, Priscilla Uribe and Rolando Uribe Jr.; her grandson, Nathan Rolando Uribe; and her siblings, Candelaria R. Solis, Irma Villarreal, Orlando V. Ramon, Jorge Ramon, Mariana Garcia, Esmeralda Ramon-Smith, Ofelia Ramon, and Julia Sharp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrea and Filiberto Ramon; her first husband, Rolando Uribe; and her siblings, Armando Ramon, Roberto Ramon, and Santos Carmona.
Melinda’s light, laughter, and love will be deeply missed — and forever remembered.
