Inocencio lived a life rooted in service, dedication, and love. He honorably served his country in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and integrity. Following his military service, he continued giving back to others as an educator with Donna Independent School District, where he devoted nearly 30 years to teaching and shaping young minds at both the middle and elementary school levels. His passion for education and care for his students left a lasting impact on countless lives.
For 24 beautiful years, Inocencio shared a loving marriage with his soulmate, Olgalivia Perez. They affectionately referred to their union as “forever,” a testament to the deep bond, companionship, and unwavering love they shared. Together, they created cherished memories traveling across the United States and enjoying one of Inocencio’s greatest joys—going to the movies.
A true movie enthusiast, Inocencio found joy in cinematic worlds, especially Marvel and DC films. He also had a lifelong love for Star Wars, Godzilla, and King Kong, passions that reflected his sense of wonder, imagination, and youthful spirit. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he delighted in sharing his favorite films with those he loved.
Inocencio will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, humor, and generous heart. He was a devoted husband, a loving son and brother, a proud uncle, a mentor, and a friend whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Olgalivia Perez; his father, Inocencio Perez Jr.; his sister, Idolina (Roel) Sanchez; his nieces and nephews, Vanessa Treviño, Julissa Sanchez, Samuel Sanchez, Rebecca Cruz, Andrea Cruz, Victoria Cruz, Daniela Cruz, Sebastian Vanegas, Kristian Vanegas, Jonas David Vanegas, Yanzel Vanegas, Jorge Vanegas, and Madeline Vanegas; and his great-nieces and nephews, Jake Ryan Treviño and Allison Mae Treviño.
