Isidro Azael Saenz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Isidro A. Saenz, who left this world far too soon on September 1, 2025, in Weslaco, Texas. He was a beloved son, devoted father, and cherished brother whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Isidro was a kind, calm soul with a heart as big as his love for those around him. His quiet wisdom, steady presence, and attentive nature made him a source of comfort and strength to his family and friends. Always patient and deeply thoughtful, Isidro had a unique way of making those around him feel seen, heard, and cared for.

A passionate gamer, Isidro shared countless joyful hours with his beloved son, Roman Ray Saenz, playing PS5 together—building not only digital worlds but a bond that will never be broken. He also loved watching Marvel superhero movies, especially when he could enjoy them with Roman by his side. His love for heroes on screen reflected the kind of person he was in life: strong, compassionate, and quietly brave.

Isidro is survived by his son, Roman Ray Saenz, who was the light of his life; his loving parents, Ruben Sr. and Lucy Saenz; and his siblings, Ruben Saenz Jr., Keanu Saenz, Rihanna Saenz, and Richelle Saenz, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Though Isidro’s time here was far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will continue to shine brightly. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love, and strength—one that will never be forgotten.

A visitation for Isidro will occur Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 3PM - 9PM with a prayer service at 7PM. Services will occur at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596.
