Israel is survived by his loving wife, Rosalinda M. Saldivar, his son Nicholas (Dahlia) Saldivar, his daughter Dora L. (Markus) Garza, and his beautiful grandchildren Hayden Isaiah Saldivar, Evan Sebastian Saldivar, Eden Orchid Saldivar, Sarah Reign Garza and Kate Abigail Garza.
Israel is preceded in death by his parents Israel and San Juana Saldivar.
Jr. served as a Police Officer for 35 years. He enjoyed football, music and spending time with family and friends. Israel had a kind heart and made friends everywhere he would go. He was most proud of his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the eldest of 8 siblings. He will be greatly missed by many, and will forever live in our hearts.
A memorial service for Israel will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596, followed by a catered reception at 2:00 PM.
