Javier Rojas

Javier “Harvey” Rojas passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at the age of 58. He was born on May 19, 1967, and throughout his life he touched the hearts of those who knew him in quiet but meaningful ways.

He was a person of deep curiosity, always attentive to the world around him and interested in how things worked. He found joy in simple pleasures, especially playing with Legos, where his imagination and focus could shine. Those moments reflected his gentle spirit and his unique way of engaging with life.

Harvey will be remembered for his presence, his curiosity, and the love he shared with his family. He is survived by his siblings: Erminia Rojas, Celia Lopez, Maria Elisa Rojas, Oscar Rojas, Jesus Rojas Jr., Juanita Ramirez, Jaime Rojas, Joel Rojas, Guadalupe Rojas, and Prajedes Francisco Rojas. He is also lovingly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, who were an important part of his life.

Harvey is preceded by his parents Jesus and Lucia Rojas and his brother Juan Jose Rojas.

Visitation services will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 6705 North FM 88, Weslaco, Texas, 78596. The visitation will take place on January 19, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7PM.

A Church Service will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 8254 Valdez Rd, Monte Alto, TX, 78538, on January 20, 2026, at 10:00 am followed by a burial at Highland Memorial Park.

Though words can never fully capture a life, Harvey’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
