Jose Angel Gonzalez

Jose and Delia Hernandez Gonzalez were married for 42 years. He enjoyed going on road trips and listening to music, singing to Little Joe, La Movida and Grupo Mazz. Jose loved to watch his grandchildren play soccer, PF Changs, NFL Football( Cowboys), car shows, and boxing. He worked on cars, lawn equipment, restoring furniture and paint industrial sized trucks. He was always a helping hand to all those who needed help and had so many memories with his church family at The Pentecostals of Weslaco, he enjoyed life and was an avid reader of "John Grisham Books.

He is survived by; his spouse; Delia Hernandez Gonzalez, his children; Jose Angel Gonzalez Jr (Christine Hernandez Gonzalez), Jasmine Angela Gonzalez, his grandchildren; Raquel, Dexter and Elliott Gonzalez his mother Elida Saldivar and siblings Lisa Resendez, Ruben Gonzalez, Tony Rodriguez and Lupe Saldivar.

Jose is preceded in death by his father; Ruben Gonzalez, his granddaughter; Alexandria Rose.

A one day visitation for Jose will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM to 9:30PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A prayer service will occur Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
