Jose Eduardo Guerra, age 38, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Jose was born to Jose and Martha Alicia Guerra in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Jose loved Norteno music, especially Los Invasores de Nuevo León, when he was younger, he enjoyed singing Karaoke. Jose loved spending time with his niece and nephews, making up games for them; he truly loved them as his own. Jose was a true representation of resilience; he never allowed his disability to stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. He always gave it his all and made the best of any situation he encountered.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Martha Alicia Guerra Ortiz, sister, Brenda (Jose De La Cruz) Guerra; his niece and nephews: Alejandro Guerra, Krystelle De La Cruz, Jose De La Cruz Jr and Joaquin De La Cruz.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Funeraria del Angel Highland followed by the interment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
