Juan Castillo, age 67, passed away peacefully at his residence on June 17, 2026. Born on July 15, 1958, to Juan Castillo and Petra Garcia Zepeda, Juan lived a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and love. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and devotion to those he held dear.
Juan will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew him. He dedicated himself to his family and found his greatest joy in caring for those he loved. Juan was also a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. Through every season, victory, and loss his loyalty to the Cowboys never wavered. Sundays were often spent around friends and family proudly wearing his Cowboy colors and sharing his love for the game.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ninfa Castillo, with whom he shared a life filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories.
Juan is also survived by his stepdaughters, Melisa Ann Garza, Michelle Annette De La Garza, Melinda Hernandez (Efren), and Marissa D. Anderson (Wesley). Although they were his stepdaughters by title, Juan never saw them that way. He loved them unconditionally, cared for them, guided them, and embraced them as his own children throughout their lives.
He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Juan loved them deeply and considered every one of them his own. His presence, wisdom, encouragement, and affection will remain a lasting part of their lives and memories.
Juan is further survived by his siblings, Arturo Zepeda (Rosa), Adrian Zepeda (Josie), Yolanda Rodriguez (Armando), Leticia Castillo, and Jose Castillo (Christina), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Castillo and Petra Garcia Zepeda, and his brother, Rufino Ramos. While his family mourns his passing, they find comfort in knowing he has been reunited with those who went before him.
