Kaden Jace…
A sweet baby boy.
Born 2/13/24, with all odds fighting against him. Doctors were saying he was not going to make it. In fact, one doctor expressed how much of a miracle it was that mom made it to full term.
Kaden suffered with many obstacles that kept him in bed for his whole life. 14 months. Obstacles such as a single heart ventricle (Shones complex - HLHS), Chronic lung disease and Severe Pulmonary Hypertension.
Despite what doctors said, he fought. So many times, when doctors had no more options for him, he continued to strive. “Not today!” Kaden would prove them wrong.
He wanted to make sure he had enough time with his family, but most importantly, time with mommy.
He was such a character.
No nurses had the chance to take breaks, eat, or socialize because Kaden came first. They loved him though. Their nickname for him was “Superman” and “Kadenator”.
However, it was a matter of time before Kaden made the decision to stop fighting. As much as we saw Kaden progressing, he was still very sick.
That’s when our Lord Jesus Christ approached him. And God asked, “Are you ready to come home?”
Baby Kaden said “Yes, I’m ready.”
“Come.” The Lord said.
“Won’t Mommy be sad?” Kaden knew mommy was always there watching over him, he was scared to leave his momma.
Then the Lord said to him “She will, but she wants you to be happy and healthy more. She will choose for you to be pain free and she will know you will be by her side, watching over her and big brother now.”
“Yes! I will. I’m ready! I will take care of mommy and my big brother Korey!” Our big brave Kaden said with excitement.
And that was his last day. Sunday April 27th, 2025.
He is now flying with the angels and watching over his mommy & brother. Happy, healthy & pain free.
