

Born in March 15, 1934 in General Teran Mexico
Leandro was a carpenter in life. He was a man of deep faith, strong family and Godly values. He was marked by love, and strength. His generous heart and warm spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Leandro loved his family deeply, and nothing brought him more joy than having everyone together at once. He was a true example of God’s unconditional love. He had a beautiful, lifelong relationship with God that guided him with peace and grace through every chapter of his life.
He found joy in going to church, praying, singing and reading his bible. His legacy of love , faith and devotion to his family will live in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife; Jovita Herrera Gonzalez, mother; Adela Sandoval and his son; Joe Leandro Gonzalez (Felipa).
Leandro is survived by his children, Irma Garcia (†Carlos), Martha Davila (Robert), Sylvia Medrano (Max), and Eliseo Gonzalez (Blanca). He was the proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Leandro will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a eulogy at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599. A church service will occur Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 300 S. Victoria Rd, Donna, TX 78537, followed by the interment at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599.
